Multiple OS in VPS
Our virtual private server solutions feature three Linux distributions that you can choose from for the Operating System of your new server - Debian, Ubuntu and CentOS. Aside from being absolutely free, the OSs are very stable and risk-free and the reason to offer the 3 of them is to ensure that you can run each app that you would like, because different pieces of software could have different requirements for the environment they can be used on. Each of the three OSs is backed by a large community of web developers who have developed a large number of software packages that you can install and use on your VPS. In accordance with the Operating System that you select, you will also be able to choose between 3 different Control Panels to control your hosting content. Needless to say, if you decide that you need a different OS, we can always reinstall the server with it. As an additional upgrade, we also provide weekly updates of the Operating System for max stability and security.
Multiple OS in Dedicated Hosting
We offer three Operating Systems with our dedicated server packages - CentOS, Ubuntu and Debian. They're all different Linux distributions and we offer them not only because they're freely available and they won't increase the low price of your new hosting server, but also because they are outstandingly stable and secure. Each of them is backed up by a huge community of web developers, so you'll be able to choose from a large number software packages that you could install on your server if the app that you intend to employ has specific requirements. The Operating System will also determine what hosting Control Panel you can use because the Control Panels that we offer are compatible with particular OSs only and since we would like to provide you with as much adaptability as possible, we offer several OSs and multiple Control Panels. In case you choose a server with a given Operating System, we could change it upon request if it turns out that you will need a different one. We will also keep your OS updated on a weekly basis as a part of our optional Managed Services upgrade.
